Labor expresses its deep sadness at the news that Germanwings flight 9525 crashed over Southern France, with 150 passengers and crew on board.
We are particularly saddened to learn that two Australians, a mother and her adult son from Victoria were on board flight 9525.
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of all of those on board, as well as with the people of Germany, Spain, and France.
We have asked the Australian Government for more detailed information.
Labor offers its full support for any help Australia may be able to provide in investigating this terrible tragedy.
