LIBS NEED TO WAKE UP AND CRACKDOWN ON NDIS CROOKS
The Morrison Government needs to stop waving the white flag when it comes to criminals targeting the NDIS funds of Australians with disability.
Whistleblower revelations that thousands of dollars are stolen from vulnerable clients every day but frauds rarely investigated are a disgrace.
It is not good enough that there is a general acceptance of a 10 per cent fraud rate, or $2billion, and that the rarely-recouped stolen money just gets replaced with taxpayers’ money.
Stuart Robert has a padlock on the front gate of the NDIS for the genuinely needy and then a welcome mat out the back for the crooks.
This is the great disability robbery and the Morrison Government is waving the white flag and just slugging the taxpayer to cover it up.
Why is he so hard on people with disability but so soft on criminals?
Maybe having ripped $4.6 billion from the NDIS the Government identifies with the thieves.
Stuart Robert needs to wake up, come out of hiding and fix this disgraceful situation immediately.
There needs to be a properly-functioning anti-fraud division in the NDIA which chases down tips and recoups stolen money.
There needs to be a transparent NDIA inquiry into the whistleblower revelations.
And there needs to be regular reporting to Parliament of the NDIA’s progress particularly in chasing down fraudsters and criminals.
Anything less is an insult to people with disability and the Australian taxpayer.
