This is obviously not the outcome we had hoped for.

 

Labor understands lawyers for Mr Chan and Mr Sukumaran are considering other legal avenues.  Of course, all legal processes should be allowed to run their course.

 

Once again, we plead with Indonesia to grant these two young men clemency.

 

While there’s life, there’s hope. We will not give up.

 

We continue to offer every support to the Australian Government in relation to this matter.
