Labor congratulates the Socceroos on their incredible victory in the final of The Asian Cup last night.

 

Throughout the tournament, the Socceroos have captured the imagination of Australians with their victories and exciting brand of soccer.

 

Last night's victory had fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

 

Our congratulations are also extended to the South Korean team who were phenomenal in defeat.

 

Coach Ange Postecoglou, captain Mile Jedinak and the players have written themselves a glorious chapter in the history books of Australian sport.
